Day 11 of our 40 Day prayer journey

Day 11

Today’s prayer comes with an encouraging reminder. As your read the Scriptures for today you will see that God gathers His people from all parts of the world, He cleans us from our sins and from the idols we put in place of Him, He replaces hard hearts with hearts that are soft and responsive and He puts His Spirit in each of us, Who causes us to follow and obey Him!

Isn’t that encouraging! No matter how far away a person may seem to be from God He is more than capable of transforming their heart and drawing them into relationship with Himself.

Pray today with a new vigor and encouragement for those who don’t seem to be seeking God!

Pray that God does His work within them preparing their hearts to receive Him, that He draws them and fills them with His Spirit that they may become people who’s lives are lights on a hill for God’s glory!

Ezekiel 36:24-27

“For I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries, and will bring you into your own land. I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances.”

Ephesians 2:8-10

“For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.”

Matthew 5:14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
