Day 4
ABIDING & FRUIT
Pray today for much fruit! In today’s Bible reading we see that God is glorified as our lives produce fruit. We also see that fruit comes as a result of staying continually connected to and continually dependent upon Jesus. Pray today for yourself, for other Christians you know, and for those on your list, that each would hunger and thirst to be deeply connected to Jesus. Pray that each person would become a fruit bearing follower of Jesus. Pray that the fruit born in this 40 days of prayer would be seen in all nations. Ask God to give you an opportunity today to share Jesus with someone.

John 15:4-8
“Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples.”
Matthew 24:14
“This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come.”
